We woke up this morning at 5:45, to be on a ferry by 7. We had a two hour long ferry ride to Cedar Island, where we started biking. The Coast to Coast team biked 88 miles to Jacksonville, NC.
It was really really really windy. We averaged about 12-15mph because the wind was so terrible.
My bike was a little messed up today. The back tire's release (the gadget that allows the wheel to spin freely without peddling) was jammed, causing my peddles to continuously spin. About 20 miles out of Jacksonville, we found a bike shop and got my bike fixed.
We finally made it to our hotel room, went swimming, took our showers and ate at the Texas Roadhouse. I think that makes for a pretty successful day. Goodnight.
